A few of my friends who run labels and I share this joke where we give our children their own catalog number among the label’s releases. My goal was to make it to A389-050 before my daughter was born, and managed to do it (with all of your help of course).

Anyways just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all your support, we made it to A389-050. And here she is…meet my daughter Reagan, aka A389-050!

Mom and baby are doing awesome and resting up. I’ll be back to work in a couple days so sit tight if you’re waiting on anything from me. Thanks again.

We’ve also loaded up the rarities section with a few things from the magic closet. Most of the stuff is in quantities of 15 or less (especially the Integrity and Pulling Teeth stuff), and we’re hoping to raise a bunch of money to go towards the next batch of releases.

Speaking of new releases we have a bunch coming out and are figuring out how to get them all out in a timely fashion. New music by INTEGRITY, PICK YOUR SIDE (Ex Haymaker/Left For Dead), OAK, SERAPHIM, PALA and the long awaited new PULLING TEETH 2×12″ (funerary). which will be out in October. Get stoked.

In show news PT is playing two shows this year. One in Baltimore on August 6th with Ceremony/Magrudergrind/The Love Below/
Punch/Judas/Triac and Hatewaves. The other is on the Sunday of the sold out THIS IS HARDCORE fest in Philly. Be there or don’t.

Last but not least in label news, we got the last of the Integrity/Caulfield/Pale Creation pre-orders out today save for 10 of them that are waiting on t-shirt restocks. Caulfield LPs are sold out/out of print. Hope they were worth the wait!

Thanks everyone for your continued support. With so much going on here within the label and outside of it, it’s really hard to be able to keep this level of output going, but it’s worth it at the end of the day. Check back soon.

PT I: INTEGRITY / PALE CREATION / CAULFIELD PREORDERS

This is the first set of pre-orders in A389 history to ever get sent in waaaay ahead of time. What was supposed to be a nice surprise for everyone who waited patiently for the Gehenna/Cali Love/Love Below pre-orders turned into one nightmare after the other after the other after the other.

Today is Monday June 7th, 2010. As of today, we received the final missing part of the puzzle: The INTEGRITY To Die For 10″ vinyl on red…..with the wrong center labels. At this point this is just embarrassing. A phone call to the plant today got me assurance that they are re-doing them with the correct labels and will have them out to me this week, as well as the elusive INTEGRITY ‘Walpurgisnacht’ 7″ 2.5 pressing on lemonade vinyl.

So yes, the INTEGRITY / PALE CREATION / CAULFIELD pre-orders have to be held up for one more week. I’m sorry, it hurts me to do it, but my hands are tied. Look for these to ship next week.

PT II: NEW PREORDERS: The 5×7″ Bundle.

It’s that time again. We have 5 count ‘em: 5 new pre-orders for you to take advantage of. The idea behind this package deal is a 5×7″ bundle In said bundle, you will receive all five of our new titles on limited colored vinyl. If you prefer individual records, we have all of them available individually on standard black vinyl as well. We won’t be launching these for another week due to the prior pre-orders being held up. Catch them flaunting their more Slayer meets Integrity style on a brand new track while Aaron Melnick (of Integrity/In Cold Blood fame) debuts his new band Shin To Shin are on the flipside This record is crammed with more riffs and guitar solos than you’ll know what to do with, giving you a preview of what’s to come for both bands on their respective new LPs this year.

The Infamous Gehenna are back with two new songs that are their most brutal crustiest sounding songs to date. On the flipside Blind To Faith from Belgium (members of Rise And Fall/Reproach) deliver two tracks of Holy Terror style hardcore one of which features guest vocals from the singer of Kickback. Not to be missed.

This epic wall of sound is one of the heaviest recordings we’ve heard in a long time. It’s just plain ignorant. Huge riffs all over this record, treading the path set on their last LP ‘Deep In The Shallow End’. Don’t be a fool and let Atlanta GA’s Gray Ghost slip under your radar. You’ll regret it.

Joe Hardcore has put together one hell of a fest this year, one not to be missed! Unless of course you weren’t one of the lucky few to get a ticket within the first 36 hours before it sold out.
