5×7″ PRE-ORDER PACKAGE HAVE ALMOST ALL SHIPPED

These have finally all been assembled and the last 100 will be shipped out this week one carload at a time. Check your inbox for an email notification, and you should have yours soon so be on the lookout for that. As always, your patience and continued support is very much appreciated. Nowadays with the little one in tow, things are more hectic than ever. Making things happen in a timely manner is just getting harder to do, but at the end of the day it is still is getting done…it’s just taking a little longer. I appreciate and respect Sean/Youngblood Records and what he does more now than I ever have, as well as the label/band dudes with families that manage to still make things happen on a regular basis.

So yeah, we hope they were worth the wait, I think they all came out awesome. Regular versions as well as digital downloads are now available for order in the webstore. They will be also be available through your favorite distros in a few weeks if ye so desire.

First up is OAK’s new monster of an LP titled ‘ii’. Recorded with the great Kevin Bernsten in Baltimore City (Triac/Pulling Teeth/HW/Seraphim), this record is the most sonically crushing thing I’ve heard all year. Thick tones, brutally slow agonizing doom with tormented vocals, it’s really just perfect. Limited pressing of 666 copies (100 on white) all with gorgeous gatefold packaging and 210 gram vinyl to top it off.

Secondly we have the debut self titled 7″ by PHARAOH from New Jersey. Awesome doomy sludge with a little bit of noisy chaos in the mix. Think Bloodlet meets Neurosis running alongside bands such as Seraphim and Gray Ghost. These songs floored me and will most likely have the same effect on you. Best new band I’ve heard all year. Limited pressing of 666 copies.

Last but not least we have a very special, very limited ROT IN HELL release on deck. ‘ Niu’ is an awesome soundboard recording pressed as a one sided 12″ ep that totally captures RIH at their most raw and furious. This will be your first crack at hearing some tracks from the upcoming LP on Deathwish as well as some old favorites. Screen printed covers/hand numbered to 300 copies ever. This one is not to be missed, and may lead to greater rewards come January if you get my drift

Speaking of upcoming releases on A389, we’re doing a record for this awesome band from NJ called PHARAOH. Stevecake turned me on to these guys and they rule. Awesome loud doomy Bloodlet meets Neurosis type stuff. You need to check them out now.

The A389 myspace also has a preview from the new OAK II LP which is the heaviest thing you will feast your ears on this year. Totally brutal. We’d post an entire song if they didnt range 11-26 minutes, so enjoy the excerpt and get ready to pre-order this beast on 210 gram vinyl soon.

Last but not least let’s talk about ROT IN HELL. The ‘Hallways Of The Always’ LP is one of my favorite releases we’ve done. I’ve heard rough mixes of the ‘As Pearls Before Swine’ LP that is eventually going to come out on Deathwish and they rule as expected. I’ve been lucky to see them play a few times when PT was in the UK and they always ripped. The time has come to share the magic with the rest of you. A389 will be releasing a limited edition live ROT IN HELL 12″ EP that will hold you over until that new LP comes out on Deathwish. Don’t miss out on this release, as it may open doors you never knew existed. One time pressing of 300 copies ever.

Keep in mind it’s going to be as many as we can put together (we being myself, and my wife when the baby is asleep) and get out to the post office daily so, they all aren’t going to go out the Monday, but rather a carload a day which should take about a week to get done. By August 16th they should all be out the door and on their way to you.

In other exciting news, Pulling Teeth will be playing two shows this year. Sunday of TIH Fest in Philadelphia which is already sold out, and our 7″ record release show @ CCAS on Friday Aug 6th with Ceremony, Magrudergrind, The Love Below, Judas, Triac and Hatewaves. This show is also Hatewaves record release show for our ‘Taste The Beast’ 7″. It will truly be magical.

If rehearsals for these two shows wasnt enough to keep me busy (along with the 5×7 packages haha) i’ll be in the studio a bunch this week working on stuff for a couple of new splits coming out on A389 that you won’t want to miss. Stay tuned for some big announcements including our NEW PRE-ORDERS which will be announced any minute now!!
